GENERAL FUNCTION - The operation of a Flexographic printing press. The operator will possess a combination of knowledge, skill, and abilities to carry out work activities related to the operation of the flexographic printing press.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS - List major activities performed.
• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a Mark Andy 16" - 20" flexographic press
• Installs Anilox rollers, plates. inks and dies into proper stations, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality of production.
• Notifies Supervision of needed repairs and replacement parts.
• Ensures that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition.
• Understands all the documents related to the printing process and adheres to specification requirements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
·90-day review period after hire where candidates will be assessed for a skill increase.
· After 90-day review period we have an attendance incentive- we give an extra $1.00 on their paycheck for showing up to work without any unexcused absences.
