The Surgical Technologist assists in the care of pediatric patients across the age continuum within the operating room. This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, scrubbing, and circulating for various surgical specialties, including general surgery, urology, dental, OMFS, neurosurgery, plastics, burns, ENT, and orthopaedics.

Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate in the operating room.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the care of pediatric patients across various surgical specialties.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Tech License (NY License ONLY)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two (2) years of OR experience
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- OR experience in a level 1 trauma center
- Ability to scrub and circulate
- Pediatric experience
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to handle on-call, callback, and charge duties per unit needs.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour shifts
- D/E/N rotating shift schedules
- Includes weekends and holidays
