Nurse Practitioner – Men’s Health Clinic

Location: Metairie, LA
Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time
Pay: $50 – $65 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

A new Men’s Health Clinic in Metairie, LA is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide exceptional patient care focused on men’s wellness, hormone therapy, sexual health, and preventive medicine. This position begins as a 3-day-per-week schedule and will transition to 5 days per week as the clinic grows. The client is also open to discussing an equity participation program for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, physical exams, and consultations

• Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests and diagnostics

• Develop individualized treatment plans for hormone therapy, wellness, and preventative health

• Administer injections and prescribed therapies

• Educate patients on treatment options, lifestyle changes, and long-term health goals

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Assist in establishing clinic workflows, treatment protocols, and patient care standards

• Support patient follow-up, continuity of care, and patient satisfaction

• Collaborate with clinic leadership to ensure a safe, efficient care environment

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana

• 2+ years of clinical experience (men’s health, hormone therapy, wellness, or primary care preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently in a growing, startup-style clinical setting

• Knowledge of hormone therapy, men’s wellness, and metabolic health is a plus

Schedule

• Starts at 3 days/week

• Expands to 5 days/week as the clinic grows
