We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** + Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the psychiatric patient under the direction of the RN. + Works as a member of a team to assist with milieu management and performs job tasks to ensure personal, patient and departmental safety. + Communicates professionally and effectively with staff, physicians, management, external and internal customers. Ensurestimely and accurate communication of patient information with all members of the treatment team. + Leads or Co-Leads the following groups: AM goal setting, PM wrap-up and diversionary. + Assists Charge Nurses and Shift Supervisor in maintaining efficiency. + Completes clerical responsibilities. + Adheres to policies and procedures. Supports the Mission of the facility. + Pursues and takes responsibility to enhance personal and professional growth. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date + Nonviolent Crisis Interv Inst, or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date LewisGale Hospital Pulaski ( has provided quality healthcare services since 1915.
