Maternal Nurse Reviewer / Contract – Jericho, NY 11753 or Albany, NY 12207 (#25288)

Location: Jericho, NY 11753 or Albany, NY 12207

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Rate: $50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Review clinical charts and medical records from multiple sources.
• Conduct interviews and observations for program monitoring.
• Draft clear, detailed reports for the Department of Health.
• Track and manage documents across databases and shared platforms.
• Provide technical support to healthcare program staff.
• Utilize data tools to record monitoring findings.
• Travel approx. 25 on-site days/year (NYC, Westchester, Long Island).

Qualifications:

• Must hold active NY State RN, NP, PA, or equivalent license.
• Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in facility or community settings.
• Preferred experience in OB, pediatrics, adolescent, or surgical care.
• At least 2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Experience in chart review, quality improvement, or utilization review.
• Knowledge of disease management and care coordination trends.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
