Position Overview

We are seeking a Locum-to-Perm Sleep Medicine Physician to provide coverage in Greenville, SC. This opportunity is due to a need for improved access to sleep medicine services and offers a stable weekday schedule in an outpatient clinic setting with the option to read sleep studies remotely .

Schedule

• Days: Monday Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Call: Not required

Practice Setting

• Office/Clinic-based practice
• Open to remote interpretation of sleep studies
• Patient Population: 100% Adult | 0% Pediatric
• Average Daily Volume: 12 16 patients per day

Team & Support

• Sleep Medicine Physicians: 2
• Advanced Practice Providers: 6
• Ancillary Staff:
  • 2 Polysomnography Technicians
  • 4 Medical Assistants
• Onsite Services:
  • Sleep Lab onsite
  • X-ray onsite

Office & Equipment

• Sleep studies are conducted in a hospital outpatient department
• Clinic focuses on interpretation of sleep studies and post-study follow-up care
• EMR/Documentation System: Epic

Conditions Treated

• Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
• Central Sleep Apnea
• Insomnia
• Narcolepsy
• REM Sleep Behavior Disorder
• Circadian Sleep Disorders
• Hypersomnia
• Snoring

Credentialing

• Estimated Credentialing Timeline: 90 120 days

Travel & Expense Reimbursement

• Facility reimburses for:
  • Flight
  • Hotel

Submission Requirements (Required)

• Board Certified in Sleep Medicine ONLY
• Active South Carolina Medical License
• BLS Certification

Assignment Summary

This is an excellent weekday-only, no-call opportunity in a well-supported sleep medicine practice with long-term potential through a locum-to-perm pathway.
