Role Summary
The Observability Engineer is responsible for deploying and managing Dynatrace to deliver full-stack observability across applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms. This role focuses on a critical migration from AppD and Splunk to Dynatrace, building dashboards, alerts, and SLOs to proactively monitor system health. You will work closely with development and SRE teams to instrument services and optimize system reliability through hands-on technical implementation.
Responsibilities
Perform hands-on designing and implementing of Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
Lead the migration of observability services from AppD and Splunk to Dynatrace.
Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, DQL, and SLOs to detect performance issues.
Instrument services and analyze telemetry to support incident resolution.
Manage Dynatrace administration and automation across cloud and on-premise platforms.
Collaborate with SRE and operations teams to optimize system reliability.
Required Skills
Dynatrace APM: 2 4 years of expert-level experience in design and implementation.
Splunk: Hands-on experience with design and implementation.
AppDynamics: Hands-on experience with design and implementation.
Observability Practices: Deep understanding of telemetry, DQL, and SLO/SLI development.
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
