Mc3 Partners is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support a federal program focused on securing enterprise systems, networks, and cloud environments. This is a contingent role , pending contract award. Candidates with active TS/SCI clearances are encouraged to apply to be considered once the contract is awarded.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security solutions across cloud, network, and endpoint environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.
- Support RMF and NIST compliance efforts for federal systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required; active TS/SCI clearance.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Tenable, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and controls.
