**IMMEDIATE HIRING - Construction Laborers** **Pay Rate: $20/hr - $25/hr** **Location: Central & Eastern New York** **Schedule: Monday-Saturday, Overtime Available** **About the Role** We are seeking **experienced Construction Laborers** to join our team for **utility and site construction projects** . If you have **2+ years of experience** in roadwork, civil, or utility construction and are ready to work hard, travel within Central and Eastern NY, and grow with a reputable company, this is your opportunity! **What You'll Do** + Assist with **excavation, trenching, and site preparation** for utility installations. + Load, unload, and transport **materials, tools, and equipment** . + Operate **basic hand and power tools** safely. + Support **pipefitters, electricians, and heavy equipment operators** . + Perform **backfilling, compacting, and grading** . + Install and maintain **temporary structures** (barricades, safety signage). + Follow **strict safety protocols** and maintain a clean work environment. + Assist in **final site cleanup** and inspection prep. **Requirements** + **2+ years experience** in construction labor (road, civil, utility projects). + **OSHA 10 Certification** preferred. + Ability to **lift 50-100 lbs** , work outdoors in all weather conditions. + Strong **work ethic** , reliability, and teamwork. + Willingness to **travel** , work overtime, and Saturdays. + Good **safety hygiene** and ability to work independently. **Physical Demands** + Heavy lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders. + Extended standing and walking on uneven terrain. + Exposure to outdoor elements (heat, cold, rain, dust). **Schedule** + **Start:** 6:15 AM at the shop, load equipment, head to site. + Typical day ends around **4:00 PM** , but **overtime and Saturdays are frequent** . **** **Skills** Site construction | Utility construction | Sewer systems | Civil construction | Earthworks | Tie-ins ✅ **Apply Today - Immediate Openings!** **Join a team where hard work pays off and growth opportunities await.** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
