Job Description
Summary of Duties
Serves as secretary by coordinating office services, supporting quality programs, and providing professional customer service in all interactions for DeWitt Community Education and DeWitt Public Schools. Duties include communicating information, problem solving, material acquisition, cash handling, record keeping, and event management.
Reports to
Reports to Community Education Director – FECC Administrator
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient skill and ability to operate a personal computer and related software
- Maintains accurate records and account balances for facility use, enrichment/recreation programs using appropriate computer software programs
- Accurately prepares and processes monthly financial reports of department activities
- Communicates with public and is knowledgeable of the district coach/camp compensation
- Ability to respond to emergency facility access situations after hours/weekends
Compensation
- Per DESPA Contract, 02 classification
- This is a Support Staff Union Position
Work Schedule
4.0 hours per day, 20 hours per week. 12 months per year. Special events occurring after hours and recess days will require flexible scheduling on a temporary basis
