This internship offers a great opportunity for data-driven students eager to gain hands-on experience in financial data analysis and reporting. The role involves working with large datasets, validating data accuracy, and assisting in model testing to support loan resolution processes. The ideal candidate will develop practical skills in data tools and visualization while contributing to meaningful business insights. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams across multiple departments in a supportive and flexible remote work environment. This experience is designed to strengthen both your technical and analytical capabilities in a real-world financial context.

Accountabilities:

• Support loan resolution and collections teams through data reporting, validation, and model testing.
• Work with large datasets across multiple systems to extract, analyze, and interpret information.
• Generate actionable insights to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain clear documentation of analysis, findings, and recommendations.
• Collaborate frequently with internal departments to ensure data consistency and reliability.
• Learn and apply advanced data tools and methodologies under the guidance of experienced analysts.
• Participate in special projects related to data management and reporting automation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Data Analytics or Data Science degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of a data analytics course preferred.
• High proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to learn new tools and complex systems with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be local to Tampa Bay and available to work remotely or on-site.
• Available from January 2026 ; must be able to work up to 29 hours per week during weekdays (flexible around academic schedule).
• Please note: Students in F-1 or J-1 visa status are not eligible for this internship.
