Position Summary
True North Title is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Closing Agent to manage real estate transactions from open to close. This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the closing process while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and coordinate closing documents for real estate transactions
- Conduct real estate closings with buyers, sellers, lenders, and realtors
- Communicate clearly and proactively with all parties throughout the transaction
- Ensure all files are complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements
- Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure on-time closings
- Utilize internal systems to track tasks and communication
- Address and resolve issues related to lender requirements, water bills, payoffs, or title matters
- Maintain high attention to detail with a focus on error-free files
- Provide a professional, welcoming experience at the closing table
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a real estate closer or in a title company with 3+ years of experience
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions and closing processes
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- Proficiency with closing software and willingness to learn new systems
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service focus
