Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience managing maintenance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a key member of our operations team, the Chief Engineer ensures all building systems operate efficiently, comply with safety standards, and meet brand expectations. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
• Assist in budget planning, including estimating costs for repairs and capital improvement projects.
• Hire, train, schedule, and manage the performance of maintenance staff.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex maintenance issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
