Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Hybrid (based at our offices in Parsippany, NJ 3 days per week)

You’ll not only drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support, but also leverage SQL, Python, and AI-driven tools to automate workflows, enhance reporting, and deliver predictive insights.
Your Role: Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be an instrumental business partner to leadership across the organization. You will bring both financial acumen and technical fluency to design scalable models, integrate data across systems, and deliver insights that inform high-impact decisions. Your ability to bridge financial strategy with advanced technology will help OLI sustain growth and innovation in a dynamic global environment.

Why You're Vital to Our Mission: As we enter a phase of significant expansion, we need to transform how Finance partners with the business. This role is central to that transformation — building automated, data-driven processes while ensuring financial accuracy and strategic alignment. You’ll collaborate closely with the CFO, Director of Finance, and cross-functional leaders to unlock efficiencies, identify opportunities, and generate actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business leaders to develop strategic, long range financial plans and translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Develop predictive analytics that support revenue forecasting, customer behavior modeling, and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement data pipelines and workflow automations to improve financial processes, efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting through continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business trends and drive strategic initiatives.
- Support the financial planning cycle including the annual budget, forecast updates, and assisting in preparation of the monthly reporting package for executive leadership.
- Manage daily financial inquiries, ad hoc reports, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support key projects.
- Produce business cases and ROI analyses that foster data-driven decision-making across the organization.
We’re Looking For: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in strategic finance, business analytics, or data science supporting strategic, data-driven decision-making.
- Strong data visualization skills (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and comfort working with large datasets.
- Proficiency with SQL and Python, with demonstrated ability in data querying / structuring, workflow automation, and integration across financial systems.
- Understanding of the principles of budgeting, forecasting, and managerial reporting.
- Exposure to financial concepts and models such as the 3-statement financial or operating models, with the ability to collaborate with finance leadership to refine and interpret outputs.
While not required, it’s an added plus if you have: - Master’s Degree in Finance, Data Science, Analytics or progress toward CFA.
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS business.
- Familiarity with financial ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics) and Salesforce.
