Seasonal Tax Preparer (Potential Long-Term Opportunity)

What You’ll Do: As a Tax Preparer, you will help individuals and small business owners prepare accurate, compliant tax returns while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll use your expertise and professionalism to ensure every client feels supported, informed, and valued.

Your day will include:

• Preparing Federal and State individual tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Reviewing client information and documentation for completeness
• Explaining deductions, credits, and refund outcomes clearly
• Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
• Providing basic tax-saving guidance
• Managing client files through Fiesta’s tax software
• Promoting other Fiesta services (insurance, DMV, and notary)
• Supporting a positive, team-oriented culture

What You Bring: We’re looking for professionals who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to grow.

Required:

• 3+ year of individual tax preparation experience
• Knowledge of Schedule C (self-employment) returns
• CTEC Registered Tax Preparer and Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Expertise individual Federal and State tax forms
• Excellent communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish)
• Quick learner, Comfortable using tax software and online tools
• Available during Operating Hours M-F 8:45-7:00, Saturday 9:45-5:00

Preferred:

• Background in customer service, sales, or financial services
• Bookkeeping or accounting experience
