These positions are for project managers in Remedial Bureaus A and B. Duties of the positions will include overseeing state-funded and privately funded remedial programs in various project phases, in various programs such as State Superfund, Brownfield Cleanup Program, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action Program, and/or the Manufactured Gas Plant Program. Management includes all aspects of the remedial program, including work plan development, investigation, design, remediation, and site management phases, as well as review and evaluation of documents, to ensure compliance with NYS policies and regulations. Duties will also include interaction with responsible parties, the public, and other governmental agencies. Travel to NYC and/or Long Island for field work and oversight will be required at times.
