Course Description: Meds-Surg Medical Surgical Multisystem: This content focuses on advanced concepts of nursing care as they relate to patients across the lifespan with complex, multisystem alterations in health. Emphasis is placed on implementing time management and organizational skills while advocating and caring for patients with multiple needs. Complex clinical skills, as well as priority setting, and autonomous clinical judgement are integrated throughout the course. Clinical experiences provide the student an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts, implement safe care, and evaluate outcomes of patients in a variety of settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: One of the following:
A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
A Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) and currently enrolled in an MSN program.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
Clinical Practice: Two years of nursing care experience in an acute Medical-Surgical unit.
Licensure/Certifications: Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire. Must meet the continuing education requirements by the Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.

Salary: The clinical compensation rate is $47.95-$59.45 per contact hour. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
